Ongoing Activity

• Weekly home visits with families to determine and assess family needs
• Collect food items and operate food pantry at St Anthony's church
• Provide financial assistance to needy families for utilities, gas, clothing and emergency needs
• Referral center for health, financial, home repair and any other requested assistance

Annual Events

• Friends of the Poor Walk - members walk and collect pledges to raise funds for SVDP
• Thanksgiving meal distribution - complete turkey meal donated to families in need
• Angel Tree - Christmas gift collection and distribution to deserving children
• Christmas dinner - Christmas party with complete meal served to needy families
